Hello beauties!

I recently posted this look on my Instagram page & got loads of feedback regarding a tutorial. It really is such a simple day-to-day look for me. For this specific look, I added a pop of turquoise liner on my waterline which really does add some freshness. I’ve also lately been obsessed with mixing two or more shades of nude lip pencils together. I haven’t yet found the perfect nude lip color but mixing shades can create something even better! It’s all about having fun!

I’ve already applied my primer, foundation with a contour & highlight. If you guys want to see how I conceal, contour & highlight, you can view that here.

Step 1:

With your ring finger, apply an eyeshadow base to your eyelid with a dabbing motion. The ring finger is said to be the most gentle & because your fingers are warm, it’ll help the base to blend in evenly across the lid.

Step 2:

Using a blending brush & a soft pink/brown colour eyeshadow, apply this to the crease of your eye (just under your brow bone in a windshield wiper motion. This will add some dimension to the eye.

Step 3:

Create a winged eye using liquid liner. You can view an easy step-by-step pictorial on how to create an easy winged eye here.

Step 4:

Pop on a pair of false lashes of your choice & don’t forget to add mascara for that bold lash effect. Tip: The mascara will also blend your own lashes with the falsies so it looks natural.

Lashes: Katy Perry lashes in ‘lovely lolita’ by Eylure lashes.

Mascara: Benefit cosmetics ‘They’re real’ mascara

Step 5:

I don’t own a turquoise liner but to create the colour, coat your waterline with blue eyeliner then run a white pencil over that. This will create a bright turquoise hue on your waterline.

White liner: Essence Big bright eyes

Step 6:

The new Honey Bronze range from The Body Shop is so gorgeous! Hit the apples of your cheeks with your favourite shade of pink blush or bronzer as I did here & sweep a good amount of highlighter along you cheekbones.

Step 7:

With a darker nude lip liner, outline your lips starting from your cupids bow & create a completed lip.

Fill your lips in using the lip pencil then do the same thing with a lighter shade lip pencil to create a mixed shade. Focus the lighter shade to the centre of the lip, this will create the illusion of fuller looking lips.
