If you aren’t already a fan of eating berries, you’d be pleased to know that these little suckers are probably the healthiest & most beneficial fruits for you, not to mention, the prettiest! Berries has an increasingly long list of health & beauty pro’s, are inexpensive & easily available. Whether you’re eating it raw, dried, tossed in your cereal or with a meal, they contain more fibre, vitamins & minerals than any other fruit. Don’t be fooled by their size, they might be tiny but they’re packed with so many antioxidants that they are rightfully called Superfoods. Blueberries, one of the worlds most healthiest foods are considered to be the Godfather of them all. Believe it or not, they protect against heart disease, cancer, diabetes, alzheimers, improves vision & fights infection.

Reinvent your eating plan by shifting your eating habits just a bit. Adding a hand full of these bonafide superfoods into your daily diet can regulate blood pressure & help with healthy digestion. Eating raspberries has been proven to assist in weight loss because they contain manganese that increases the bodies metabolism. Most mammals are able to produce vitamin C naturally – except humans. This makes it so important for us to ensure that our bodies get the necessary vitamins. Cramped with Vitamins A, C & fibre (vital for the production of collagen) berries are natural immune boosters with anti-aging qualities that help keep wrinkles at bay for healthy & younger looking skin.

Combining Strawberries with yogurt as a face mask will exfoliate & refresh your skin (as seen in my DIY – Natural Fab Facials post). Blueberries mixed with almonds, oats & honey can be used as a body scrub for exfoliation & adds a natural glow. Not only do they taste great but their scent is just as sweet so using them as ingredients in facial masks is perfect!
