Cape Town’s summer has been so beautiful thus far. When it’s as hot, as it has been lately, you’ll either find me walking through markets or laying beside a pool. I’m a bit embarrassed to say that I haven’t stepped foot onto a beach to swim this summer yet, only because the heat’s an unforgiving little bitch & there isn’t a damn thing you can do about it. Also, skin cancer isn’t something I want to answer too. So instead, I roam the streets on the weekends, looking for good food and an iced tea staple before I head to the pool for a shaded sun-bathing session. I’m also that type of person who likes to be left alone with a book & unless you’re going to socialize, Cape Town’s beaches doesn’t allow that kinda boring book-worm crap.

We captured this look randomly one Sunday morning and it’s exactly what I’ve been wearing all throughout the summer. An off-the-shoulder top is so effortless and looks so fresh in white.  Also, these Mui Mui sunnies have been on my face since I got them! If you’re looking for an amazing pair of shades for the summer, Sunglass Hut has such a great collection. I always visit their stores before the season starts & these Miu Miu’s were like, rudely captivating! They’re so beautiful and I love how super light weight they are so it doesn’t create that terrible, unforgiving dent on your nose. Win!
