I read somewhere that if you’re unsure of your purpose in life, find your passion and your purpose will come of it.

I knew that by the time I hit my mid-twenties, I wanted to be at the incline of my career. Not necessarily at the peak, just heading in the right direction. Ultimately, we all want the ‘my work isn’t work because I love it’ kind of thing. Even though I’m a complete optimist and a little indecisive, I’m rational. My career was never a shoestring idea. It was solidified. Voluntary. Like most of us.

But as time went on, I found it extremely hard to juggle my shifts at the hospital, the blog and my personal life. What I began loving so dearly became a distraction and at the end of the day, it all came down to one thing – my purpose. Right now, I’m currently studying to be a makeup artist and by next month, I’ll be a full-time student again. I can finally say that I’ve resigned from my day job to pursue my blog full-time and start a career in makeup artistry. Just like any other position, being a digital influencer is hard work too. I’ve come across some major boss ladies. Some of which who also needed to test the waters to find their niche. It’s blissfully motivating. Though it’s frightening leap, I can’t remember the last time I felt this excited!

We shot this look on a ridiculously hot morning whilst on our way to breakfast. The look of the rustic walls which was somewhat unorthodox in the city amongst so many modern buildings, seemed quite attractive. I’m sure by now you may have noticed that my style is more comfortable than it is complex. This tie-dye playsuit has the cutest drawstring neckline that accentuates your shoulders and is so comfortable.
