I’ve had an incredible few days to myself. We moved to the city just a few days ago which is super exciting but also means loads of unboxing and re-organizing so I decided to take a little break to settle in nicely and also, tapping off from my day job seemed like a good idea and better way to focus on my blog a little. I didn’t realize how much crap I accumulated over 3 years at our previous place so I had the not-so-often opportunity to declutter my wardrobe as well. I also started my post-grad studies this year with my first assignment due in a month (Ah!). I know that time really won’t be my friend this year but I’m pushing against the grind and hoping my efforts will pay off.

Thankfully you guys are making every minute on my social pages so amazing and I just could’t be happier creating content and sharing experiences, stories and advice with all of you. I used to doubt the impact that I had, always questioning whether anyone was listening or even interested in MY voice. Now I feel foolish to think I didn’t have an influence of my own and it’s really all because you guys have supported the little bits of creativity I’ve been putting out into the world, so THANK YOU!

About this Look

I own an enormous amount of black clothing and I especially prey on finding amazing leather and denim pieces. They last me a lifetime and are so easy to spice up. So without being too monotonous, what I like to do is grab a hold of little trends like this active top and create something fresh but still comfort zone-ish. Dress it night time casual like I did here or lose the choker and heels and add a black denim jacket with a pair of sneakers. Either way, you’d still be in your favourite shade!
